About the Client

PitchResponse, formerly Link Sourcery, is a journalist opportunity and backlink SaaS application that helps connect journalists and experts.  It enables journalists to get the information they need and experts may receive backlinks for contributing.


Link Sourcery wanted to re-brand itself and re-launch with a new, updated name (PitchResponse) as it was planning on expanding it’s product offerings and it’s target audience outside of focusing on businesses looking for link building and backlinks.


We helped the PItchResponse team with rebranding strategy, helping to drive their product suite as well as assisted them with the brand name update,  subsequent branding design and rebuild of the marketing website.  We also helped their dev team rebrand the SaaS application to the new name and laid the groundwork for their first new set of features.


Logo Design

Expanding the target audience to include both publishers as well as contributors, we explored the concept of a conversation between these two audiences along with other areas with the conversation bubbble ultimately winning out.

SaaS Marketing Website

The Marketing website was designed using a phased approach.  With the initial rebrand, the new publisher audience would not be a part of the app and new functionality to support that audience would launch later.  Thus, the first version of the marketing site focused on the existing contributor audience with additional pages for the new audiences being designed, but not initially published on the website.


Rebrand resulted in 2x signups for paid plans
