    Hello,

    I’ve seen a few other posts that are similar to this one. I’m experiencing the same problem as them. I’ve tried adding the #td-outer-wrap to Main DOM Element but the issue is persisting.

    I’ve tried in Chrome, Firefox and Edge and all have the same error. I’ve cleared all the caches and tried to see if the theme is conflicting in any way with background colours.

    The 1 link is also not working.

    Please advise. Thank you

    Hello Malcom – Currently you have right clicks disabled on your website. Is it possible to enable the right clicks so that we may go on and assist you further.

    Thank you,

    I’ve noticed that the link on the background is working.

    Hello Malcom – Please change the DOM element to #td-outer-wrap. We noticed that the background image is considerably small. Please make sure to use an image which is larger (wider) than the content area (which is 1164px wide) on your website, so that it isn’t hidden behind it.

    Please keep us updated,

    Thank you,

    Hello Jay,

    Right. I’m making progress. I’ve been working on the Newspaper theme. I was not able to set a background with their own theme and sought their help. They tracked down the conflict to WP-Rocket, which is a performance plugin. The plugin is now disabled and I can use their own background feature on the website.

    I suspected that the same issue was the underlying issue stopping your plugin from working.

    I also managed to upload a 1920×1080 image so that issue is now dealt with.

    I have removed the Newspaper settings for the background and enabled your plugin and disabled the WP-Rocket plugin.

    I have set the DOM Element to #td-outer-wrap under Advanced Settings.

    I have enabled the Ad with the 1920×1080 and set two links.

    I cannot see the ads nor can I click on either side of the page to activate the links.

    What else can I try?

    Thank you

    Hello Malcom – Please change the DOM Element in the Advanced Settings of the Background Takeover Plugin to #td-outer-wrap.

    After that – Please add the following css to your stylesheet –

    /*BGTakeover Css*/
    .td-header-wrap, .td-container-wrap{
    max-width: 1068px;
    margin-left: auto;
    margin-right: auto;
    }

    Please let us know the result,

    Thank you,

    Thank you kindly. I can confirm all is working.

    May I ask if you did anything extra after logging in?

    Or did the changes I made, after instruction from you, do the job?

    I’m asking because I need to purchase the plugin for another website and I want to apply the same changes you recommended, to that site.

    Thank you

    Hello Malcom – We did not make any changes after logging in – We just verified that everything had been applied in a manner so that there are no conflicts. The changes you had made based on our instructions did the job.

    Please let us know if we can assist you with the other site as well!

    Thank you,
